August 2020 – reasons to be cheerful

James Lovelock was the first of many well known people to give an endorsement to our campaign. He has a special family link with Manning’s Pit in that all his children and many of his grandchildren, nephews and nieces and so on have walked in Manning’s Pit and supported the campaign to save these fields.
