Ian Scott’s drawing of the Old Stone Bridge.

Ian Scott, a well known and much loved former Mayor of Barnstaple, lives in Pilton. He is also an artist, and his pen and wash painting of Manning’s Pit bridge was one of the Exhibits in our Exhibition at the Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon back in 2017.  Around that time, we showed his pencil drawing of the Old Stone Bridge on our Facebook Page, and several people asked if a print could be produced of it.

He has given the drawing to us to scan, so that we can sell prints of the drawing at the Christmas Fair in Pilton Church Hall on Saturday 16th November, to help raise money to buy Manning’s Pit.  He hopes to be there to sign them in person on the day as well.Ian Scott's Manning's Pit (1)
