Come to our Coffee Mornings today and tomorrow in Pilton Parish Hall, from 10 – 2 pm, especially if you haven’t completed your letter of objection to the plans to build on Manning’s Pit.
We are holding an Objection Letter Writing Workshop, where you can get help and advice about how to write your letter. We don’t – and wouldn’t – want to tell you how to write it, or what to say, but we can tell you what will be the most effective points to raise in terms of planning policy. We can also take your letter down to the Council Offices for you if you have mobility problems.
We are alos having a Poster Making Workshop. The spontaneous poster demonstration that began last spring has been quite wonderful. Some posters and signs have lasted the whole year, but many have faded or disintegrated. Some people have replaced them several times, some have been battered and spoiled in the wild recent weather. Now that the application is in, new posters and signs are going up daily, this workshop is to help those of you who may be short of paper or Art Materials.
Finally – and importantly – our Coffee Mornings are a chance for us all to say hello, and thank you for all your wonderful support. And Cakes!
There will also be Manning’s Pit Cards on sale, and a last chance to see Mr and Mrs (Skittles) Manning before they depart to their new home.
