This blog, our Facebook page, and Twitter are the places to go to for daily news updates about the campaign to Save Manning’s Pit. We have set the blog up because many of our supporters do not use Facebook or Twitter, but can access a blog more easily. It is also useful when we want to post urgent news but may not be able to update the website so quickly.
The campaign is run by The Friends of Manning’s Pit, a group of local residents from the Pilton and Bradiford area. The field known as Manning’s Pit is situated on the edge of these two villages which are attached to the larger town of Barnstaple, North Devon.
Our website www.manningspit.com is updated regularly, but usually on a weekly rather than daily basis. It is the place to go to for information in depth, with maps, photographs, a full history of our campaign to Save Manning’s Pit, links to our Petition, film, our map of support from all around the world, and more.
The website is also the main place to go to for information about how to object to the Planning Application for houses and a road in Manning’s Pit : http://www.manningspit.com/planning-application.html
